The Tone of Voice page is where you personalize the writing style for each Personal Brand inside Scripe. Scripe analyzes your best-performing LinkedIn posts and learns how you naturally communicate — your rhythm, phrasing, sentence structure, and emotional tone. It then adapts your future posts to sound just like you.
The more you post, the smarter this gets. Scripe constantly updates your voice based on what works best.
You can further customize and fine-tune everything: from your writing length and language to emojis, formatting, and even favorite CTAs.

What You Can Personalize

1. Post Structure

Under Post Structure, you can define how your posts are written.
  • Post Language: Choose between English 🇺🇸 or German 🇩🇪.
  • Sentence Length: Adjust how short or detailed your sentences typically are.
  • Post Length: Control the overall size of generated posts.
  • Emoji Frequency: Choose how often Scripe should use emojis in your content.
These settings help Scripe match your communication style.

2. Style Guidance

In the Custom Instructions, you can give Scripe very specific guidance on how to write for you.
Warning: Changes to these settings may reduce post quality if not used carefully.
Here you can provide detailed instructions about your writing style, tone, and preferences. Include personality traits, patterns to use or avoid, and any specific guidelines. Examples:

Do's

🔸 Write with high enthusiasm, vulnerability, and playful confidence.🔸 Frequently start posts with a personal anecdote or confession, then pivot to lessons or advice.🔸 Use arrows and bullet points to structure lists, often with a conversational lead-in.

Don'ts

🔸 Avoid generic descriptions.🔸 Avoid words like: “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” “In conclusion,” etc.🔸 Don’t write in a salesy or overly promotional tone.🔸 Don’t overuse jargon or buzzwords without context.

3. Writing Samples

This section helps Scripe learn how you naturally write so it can generate content that sounds more like you. You can teach Scripe your voice in three ways:
  1. Automatic Learning: Enable “Learn from new posts automatically”, and Scripe will continuously add your new LinkedIn posts as writing samples.
  2. Add Custom Samples: Add your own posts manually by clicking Add custom sample and pasting content you’d like Scripe to learn from.
  3. Add Creator Samples: Click Add creator sample to learn from creators you admire. This helps Scripe pick up specific writing techniques, structures, or storytelling styles.

Tip: You can toggle individual samples on or off at any time. Only active samples are used to shape your Tone of Voice, making it easy to experiment with different writing styles without deleting anything.

4. Signature Elements

Teach Scripe the small details that make your writing style recognizable.
  • Frequently Used Emojis: Add emojis you commonly use in your posts.
  • Frequently Used List Symbols: Add your preferred formatting symbols and bullet styles.
  • Common CTAs: Add the call-to-actions you frequently use in your posts.
  • Custom Footer: Add a reusable signature or footer that can automatically appear in all of your posts.

5. Try your Voice

This feature lets you instantly preview how Scripe currently understands your writing style. Simply click Try your voice, enter a topic or idea, and Scripe will generate a sample LinkedIn post using your current Tone of Voice settings. The preview is based on your Writing Samples, Signature Elements, formatting preferences, and any other voice settings you’ve configured. This is a great way to see whether Scripe truly sounds like you before you start creating content. If something feels off, you can adjust your Writing Samples or Tone of Voice settings and immediately test the changes again. It’s a safe space to experiment, refine your setup, and see exactly how Scripe would write using your current voice.
